And it’s really funny. I used to be on Blogspot you see. Complete with a tagboard and emo(?!) poems and ambivalent, ambiguous comments from the angsty teen me.
(when we posted in teeny words or colours that hid in the blogskin- LOL seriously. So much angst and antics.)
LOL quite funny that everything is captured for posterity. The silly catchphrases we use all the time to say “hi” I just found one : “whuppenning!!”
Kinda sad yet inevitable that the people mentioned in the posts- some drifted away as we changed classes and lost face time with each other- some I used to be on better terms with.. some closer now.. and people that are now replaced by new characters central in my life.
A friend once said, “friends are determined by proximity” there’s a negative part to the quote but I kinda forgot. Anyway. It is true. How many people really keep in touch when everything in common slowly fades away?
Heehee I actually am quite amused by my very detailed recounts of my daily life- something I do less on Tumblr where images seem to make up a significant portion of my posts. Anddddd I was way more honest and I guess … perky in the young energised way. I just keep rambling on about myself etc with many CAPS and emoticons and just random thoughts about anything and everything. Quite funny :)
But the older me now values privacy more now, and honestly really. Who needs to know all the nitty gritty of who said what today? But alright I gotta say it helps a lot to let me enter the 14 year old me easier and recount those memories. Am amused ;)
